A Child's Hope Pillar: Health
Providing medical support and necessary treatments should they fall ill. Also, existing health conditions are treated as best as is possible. The children are also given basic hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpastes, soap, mosquito nets. Once a year, the children are gathered for talks and demonstration in basic hygiene, and for the girls, feminine hygiene
Resilience
Developing resilience in spirit by encouraging them to develop relationships within the community for mutual support. VSRP organizes various activities to help strengthen the character of each child and integrate them more firmly and fully into their communities.

Safety
Ensuring that the children of prisoners have a safe environment in which to live which includes basic facilities such as toilets and fresh water. The program also incorporates food safety through the delivery of food supplies to the families on a regular basis.
